Cosy Home

Happy Wednesday!

Thank you to all the new subscribers and visitors on my blog and welcome to my coffee (and books) world! It made my days!

Since I've received my Amazon package with the four books, I have only read one so far: Noughts & Crosses. A few days later I started with "Becoming" from Laura Jane Williams, but I have been hugely focused and distracted by my own writing. Reading is one of the things I will pick up over this 4-days long weekend.

I also have another plan: I will create my own Coffee Shop - at home. 😁 I think the Easter Bank Holiday will challenge a lot of people to stay inside, so you all better make plans for it!

My plan contains baking a Swiss bread for Easter Sunday that goes with a perfect brunch. I will also try a BBC Good Food recipe of a carrot cake to celebrate my cake free challenge (which, apart from my birthday and some biscuits during isolation) I managed to complete (biscuits are not cakes 😉) 💪. And because I find pleasure in reading recipes, I might try to bake a banana bread and some cookies as well. Why also not to go with another round of flapjacks? It will all come together and will be displayed on the kitchen counter in our flat. My coffee shop will be called Cosy Home.

On top of baking, if Nespresso is keeping it's promise of 7 days delivery, I should get a hundred capsules to make coffee! Essential for a coffee shop, isn't it? I specifically ordered capsules which were advertised to go well with milk, so I am super excited! Is this isolation really the time where I find my true passion and start drafting a new career path? Who knows ...

What are your Easter plans? Do you have some? Let me know! I am excited to hear them! And what do you think about the name Cosy Home? Fancy a cuppa there? 😉
