Some of you might think being in a lock-down and isolated for the third week has nothing to do with looking at the bright side. You might be bored, just lingering around, playing with your phone, watching all the trash TV series or tons of movies on Netflix and Amazon Prime, whilst eating and snacking yourself through all the food you panic bought.
But hey, it's not that bad. Even when the sun shines. And getting warmer. We all need to go through this, you're not the only one who has to stay at home. And next to my wonderful books I've ordered, I have been actively writing on a new story. Yes, the one that takes place in a coffee shop. You can't believe how much I miss going to a coffee shop, sit in there, relax and sip on my coffee. It's impossible now, so I write it all down instead. And be my own barista.
I fell in love with my own oat milk latte. And next week, on Sunday, my cake-free time is finally over. I can't wait! I could do with a brownie or a piece of carrot cake. My next shopping list is already written and contains all ingredients for a tasty carrot cake to be made at home. You see, I am already converting myself into a barista at home and am ready to open my own coffee shop once the crisis is over. 😆
I am also grateful has Kygo released two new songs: Like It Is and I'll Wait. They are both an amazing motivator to write and I've been very productive over the weekend with my story. Being forced to stay at home, I finally take the time to write. It's satisfying. And there is not a lot I need to write: my laptop, music and the oat milk latte. That's my bright side!
